Jessica Lucas started 2013 on a rather sad note. She was co-stars in Cult on the 19th of February, the program was cancelled a couple weeks after. The CW broadcast the entire 13 episodes during the series. It's not an enjoyable situation to be a part of a popular series which is abruptly cancelled. The good news was that Jessica's career appeared to be getting better by leaps and bounds. In That Awkward Time, which was released in the beginning of 2014, Jessica Lucas played the attorney and wife of American actor Michael B. Jordan. However, she's in a relationship and has the upper hand within the marriage. As a movie with a group of friends, most of the plot revolves around the three leading me and I, however Lucas is a force in each scene she's involved in. She also dominates in her brief appearances in Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. It was a small-screen film she quickly found herself with Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Stroup on four episodes of the revamped 90210. In 2009, she was cast on the highly successful reboot of popular 1990s television series Melrose Place as Riley Richmond a sweet elementary-schoolteacher.
